My aunt recently sent me an email which is very applicable to us I feel.Theres NO shortcuts in life. You have to work for it.This really struck me alot as I prepare for the 2nd term of this semester in school.If you wanna succeed and get good results, theres simply no shortcut. No magic, it doesnt just *poof* come out of thin air.Even magicians practice hard!'Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.' Ok so Im like 21!! Omg so damn old. Everyone is telling me its the beginning of manhood. Sounds kinda scary huh? LOL.
Alright so as you all know yesterday I celebrated my 21st in the comfort of my own home. I want to thank all who were present. Really appreciated evry single one of your presence. You guys made my 21st birthday so so so memorable. =DD
My house barely squeezed in 50 over relatives, friends and Engit. The food was nice, just ask SER MENG. I didnt eat much can, running around entertaining you guys. And KAR CHUN kept bugging me to play winning eleven with him hor, I didnt want to cus I did not want him to lose you see. Eventually I won 1-0!! WOOOO~ It felt so goooooood. LOL.
The cake cutting was a somewhat new experience! Now I know how celebrities feel! Cameras in all directions, limelight absolutely on you. That kinda feeling. Felt soooo good but I was shy. Hehe. Thanks GLEN and NICHOLAS for playing the guitar!! Thanks PEI XIN for praying for me too. And I tell you she was extremely happy when my mum said she lost weight. HAHA the expression on her face was priceless. ^^
I also thank you people for all the presents!! Thanks for that sexy spongebob squarepants boxers and that cross necklace Engit 3! I love that boxers lehhhh but thn your wouldnt know when I would wear it hor. =X Thank the rest of Engit for your presents too. Appreciate them alot. And also before I forget, thanks MARCO for that David Beckham perfume, altho I cant play like him at least I can smell like him hor. LOL. Thank you TSU YAN for that bath foam set thingy altho I dun really use such things but yea appreciate it really. And my beloved UL miss EZRI alba, thanks for that book! I promise I will read it for my own goooood. Hehehe. I also wanna thank RrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrAYNA and CHAI MIN for that notebook, I was looking for a new sermon notebook chew know. =)) I also wanna thank KELVIN SEE and IVAN LOH for your gift too. The manchester united t-shirt. WOOOO~ I also wanna thank my beloved cousin DARREN GIDEON for that ernie. I know you spent alot on my birthday, from the bottom of my heart I wanna thank you. Appreciate it alot.
Last but not least I want to thank my AUNTY CAROL for the gifts from Israel and Hongkong. Love em loads. Also thanks MUMMY and DADDY for making this possible. Thanks for all the red packets too RELATIVES. Each and evryone of the red packets are big fat juicy ones. WOOO~
